Terawera - NZ IPA | ABV: 7.0%

Lake Tarawera – North Island, New Zealand

On the night of June 10, 1886, Mount Tarawera erupted without warning, splitting the earth and burying entire villages in ash and fire. In the days before the disaster, local Māori reported seeing a phantom canoe gliding silently across the lake—a grim omen. Today, Tarawera lies quiet and deep, but whispers of that night still echo across its glassy surface.

“tah-rah-WEH-rah” flows with the expressive power of New Zealand’s most dynamic hops. Bursting with notes of juicy apricot, white grape, and tropical citrus, it rests on a clean malt base with just enough structure to let the fruit-driven intensity shine. The finish is smooth and layered, like steam rising off cooling stone.

Smells Like: Ripe stone fruit, crushed gooseberry, diesel-laced citrus peel
Tastes Like: Juicy apricot, sauvignon blanc grape, tropical citrus, clean minerality
