Legend Of: Lake Tekapo – Mackenzie Basin, South Island, New Zealand
Framed by snow-capped mountains and skies so clear they’ve been declared a Dark Sky Reserve, Lake Tekapo glows with an otherworldly turquoise hue. According to Māori legend, the lake was formed when a mighty taniwha carved out the basin, its waters forever shimmering under the Southern Alps. Today, Tekapo is both a place of celestial wonder and deep cultural reverence, where land, lake, and stars converge in luminous harmony.
“TEH-kah-po” A ripe, double dry-hopped hazy IPA that delivers waves of tropical and stone fruit flavors. Its soft, pillowy body carries juicy mango, passionfruit, and white grape, while a gentle spritz of hop oils lingers on the finish. Just like the mighty taniwha that shaped its namesake, this beer is bold, vibrant, and full of life — a mythic IPA that commands attention without losing its smooth, approachable character.
