Your $35 Ticket Includes:

  • Entry into the exhibits to interact with hands-on bioluminescence.

  • A pouch of bioluminescent algae to take home and grow (don’t worry we’ll teach you.. its easier than most houseplants)

  • One entry into the Pyropet Raffle - $150 Value

  • One free child admission per adult ticket

🔬 About PyroFarms

PyroFarms is a Carlsbad-based company that grows and shares bioluminescent algae (Pyrocystis fusiformis). Their glowing organisms, nicknamed “Pyrodinos,” are part of the natural nighttime sparkle seen in the ocean. You’ll not only get to see and touch this bioluminescence up close but also learn how it connects to the larger marine ecosystem.

We’re leaning into a tropical tiki theme for the night. Expect a relaxed, island-inspired atmosphere with Michi beer flowing, good company, and glowing science.

👨‍👩‍👧 Family-Friendly Details

  • Each adult ticket includes admission for one child free.

  • Extra kids? Please reach out in advance so we can plan space.

  • The interactive portions are kid-friendly, but remember it’s a night event, so plan accordingly.

🚨 Important Notes

  • Tickets are non-refundable but transferable.

  • Arrive on time—doors open 30 minutes before the event starts, and the show kicks off once it’s dark enough for the glow.

  • This is a limited-capacity event (30 adult tickets) to ensure everyone gets a chance to interact with the bioluminescent samples.
